Got an update on the global Victoza® shortage… I won’t get my prescription until early 2025. At least 13 months! Safe to say, I don’t think I’ll be going back onto this drug plus Victoza® was the alternative semaglutide based drug to the even more popular Ozempic®. So need an alternative to the alternative?

Victoza® gave my body a food limiter and made me feel fulfilled. It was nice while it lasted I guess but time to learn how to deal with that without medical aid. I say this 1 week from Christmas time, 2 weeks from New Year celebrations and finally 3 weeks from a winter vacation with my partner.

My diet is looking to be very cheese and meat based for a few weeks, ’tis the season and all that. With the food limiter removed from my brain, I just don’t feel full so I’m going to have to go back to “out of sight out of belly” thing I was trying to do before and just keep food out of my mind. I can feel the bloating already. Exercise I’m starting to use the weights I have at home again. I should focus on cardo (walking) as my heart is my main concern but bugger me its cold and if I bloat out from eating too much, walking becomes a chore.

Diet 🎄 🧀 / Mental willpower 😑 / Exercise 🏋️‍♂️ / Victoza® ❌

This will be my last post for 2023. My fortnightly schedule would mean I should be posting on 31st December but I will (hopefully) be else where celebrating the end of the year. 2 weeks after that is 14th January, few days after I’ve returned from my winter vacation so that would be a good starting point for 2024’s struggles with losing weight.

Thank you to everyone who actually reads these rambles, means a lot that people care.

Anyway, here’s the gif. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year:~
