Yes, I got constipation bad. Not something anyone here wants to read but whole point of these posts is for me to be open with it all. Water retention and oedema symptoms are pretty much dealt with. Oedema still flares up a little due to sitting for long periods of time but with my job and hobbies, its a balancing act. Had a blood test to check my HbA1c with results due 25th September.
Diet has been pretty okay. I did indulge a little during and around my extended Bank Holiday weekend as I was away but didn’t gain weight so again, its a balancing act which I think I’m starting to get better at.
Mentally, again pretty good. Extended Bank Holiday weekend away from home for a much needed break from work and computers. Work didn’t fall apart with out me. Back at work for a week now and the work load is piling up again so need to get my head down and start smashing deadlines (again). Joys of budget time internally and an impending Windows Server End of Life while being understaffed, yay September & October.
Exercise is still just little moments of walking but I’m going further and its getting easier. This heat though, not helping at all. The heated air makes the breathing so much worse and my walking more strained. This end of summer heat wave should be gone by next Tuesday. Oh and I did take Harvey 🐶 for a walk while I was away! Thank you Wendy and Sophie 💕 for pushing me and making sure I did not forget. On the walk I did very well! Way better than last time I went for a dog walk 😁.
Diet 👍 / Mental willpower 😅 / Exercise 🚶♂️ 🐶
I personally weigh myself weekly for my own records but I am thinking of doing it daily to build an average over the week. Get more data. My concern is my mental willpower snow balling downwards if I keep seeing failures (big numbers going up). More to ponder.
